What do the kids of Dubai favor the most? Water! I’d reply at first! Certainly not about drinking, but about playing it well, at least my Kamronbek loves spending his time playing with or in the water. We had a chance of reviewing the Splash ‘n’ party aquapark over the past weekend and are totally in love with it. I automatically on The Waze application (thanks to my other mommy blogger friend “Nadineasamum) to find the places, but it seemed to be quite easy to find without the application. The place is located in Al Safa 2, Jumeirah and situated within an enormous villa. You will notice it from far with its sea world decorations all around.
Kamronbek got excited from the gate, the moment he noticed the slides and sprinkles behind the wall. I can’t truly express in words his joy while entering the aquapark but will try. Some sort of running, jumping, screaming and laughing, all together. (Yes, he can manage jumping while running when excited.)
You can purchase the tickets from the entrance and head to the changing rooms: Mermaids one for females and the Pirates one for males (obviously). Clean and tidy changing rooms have the showers too. We didn’t bother changing up since we were too excited about our day and were wearing our swimsuits already.
The park looks bright and beautiful filled with many colors. It’s separated into two sections: slides and sprinkle splash pads.
What did I like about the place as a mother of a preschooler? The first point that grabbed my attention is the perfect size of it and the way it’s surrounded securely all over. There is no chance for kids to get lost or run out of place since they can always be on the eye side of parents. I mean in usual water parks, you have to be right next to a kid to avoid the situation of ending up running around the park in despair of looking for your kid (talking about below 5-6 years old age group). Secondly, I liked the combination of aquatic, health and recreational activities all together at one place. Thirdly and most importantly, it’s literally for all the kids’ ages, not just older ones. They even have the shortest slide perfectly suitable for the most littles, which was the favorite of Kamronbek.
I will not forget to mention that while our little ones can enjoy the aqua fun, we adults can have chilling and relaxing time at the cafe or juice bar with the mouthwatering menu and refreshing beverages. Your little ones can also choose from healthy and tasty options for kids’ meals (if they ever remember eating while splish-splashing around).
They also offer the wide range of birthday packages and have perfectly decorated areas for each theme, such as beach party; wet ‘n’ wild (under the sea); ahoy matey’s party; mermaid lagoon and even the exclusive royal ball.
Birthday areas are located in 4 corners of a place, guess this gives kind of a privacy to each birthday party, which is rare in other venues. There is also a stage for performances and shows since you can have those within a party. We also enjoyed the magic show and Frozen themed performances from different birthday parties during our time spent in there. I also noticed the indoor birthday venues in the villa. My curious personality will never stop me from checking out everything I see and I had a little round on the ground floor of a villa. I noticed two venues and a cafeteria with a view to the aqua park, separated with grand reception area. I guess these venues are meant for hot summer days where the party can take the place and kids can get chilled in the water play area while parents sitting in the cool air-conditioned cafeteria and watching kids over the windows. Great option I thought for Kamronbek’s 3rd birthday and returned to an aqua park.
We spent an amazing time, even I slid down the few slides with a “kind” (very, very kind one, which is called “shouting”J ) request of my Kamronbek but really liked it and quite thankful to Kamronbek for making me do slide down many times. We didn’t want to leave but the time was up and this is our new place to which we are going to keep coming quite often.
